The Historic Lincoln Square Theater is honored to present the theatrical (Night #4) showing of “Trick and Treats”, a Frightful 5000 Film, a Local Indie Horror Film, on Wednesday October 29th, 2025, just in time for Halloween!
The film is directed by Mt Zion Native Eric Hector and stars Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange) with Gary Busey. (Lethal Weapon)
The movie was filmed on the soundstage at Mt Zion’s Heroic Age Art Center, as well as on locations across Decatur, Macon County, and surrounding areas.

Short Synopsis
On Halloween, Ashley and her friends find themselves locked in a biker bar, facing torture & death. All is lost until Ashley hears the legendary jack-o-lantern “Trick” (Malcolm McDowell) whispering in her mind. Is he trying to help, or is he merely a product of Ashley’s panicked imagination? The trick is figuring it out before everybody dies.
