Welcome to Lincoln Square Theater! We’re committed to providing every guest with a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Please review our policies before attending an event.

1. Ticketing & Sales

All Sales Are Final — Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. Refunds are only offered if an event is fully canceled and not rescheduled.

Authorized Ticket SellerLincoln Square Theater tickets are sold exclusively through Etix and our official box office. Tickets purchased from any other source (including third-party resale sites, scalpers, or unauthorized outlets) will not be honored for entry. The theater is not responsible for lost funds or fraudulent tickets purchased elsewhere.

Service Fees — All advertised prices include base ticket cost. Processing or handling fees may apply and will be disclosed at checkout.

Ticket Validity — Tickets are valid only for the date and event listed. Do not attempt to duplicate or resell tickets fraudulently.

Box Office Hours — Our box office is open on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM and extended hours on event days until showtime. 217-454-4583

2. Event Times & Admission

Start Times — Doors open approximately 60–90 minutes before the scheduled start time. Please arrive early to allow for bag checks and seating.

Late Seating — Late arrivals may be held in the lobby until an appropriate break in the performance.

3. Seating

Reserved vs. General Admission — Reserved seating must be respected. 

Accessible Seating — ADA-compliant seating is available. Please contact our box office in advance for special accommodations.

4. Service Animals

Permitted Animals — Only service animals that are individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability are allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and pets do not qualify as service animals and are not permitted.

Behavior Expectations — Service animals must remain on a leash or harness and under the handler’s control at all times. If a service animal becomes disruptive or poses a threat to others, the owner and animal may be asked to leave.

Seating Arrangements — Accessible seating areas can accommodate service animals. Please contact the box office ahead of your visit so we can ensure appropriate space is available.

5. Bag & Prohibited Items Policy

Bag Checks — All bags are subject to search. Small purses, clear totes, or diaper bags are permitted.

Prohibited Items — No large backpacks, outside food or drink, professional cameras, audio/video recording devices, fireworks, drones, or other disruptive items are allowed.

Weapons — Absolutely no weapons of any kind, including firearms (even with a valid concealed carry permit), knives, or pepper spray are permitted on the property. This policy is strictly enforced in compliance with Illinois law.

6. Weapons Policy (Expanded)

No firearms, knives, explosives, or weapons are allowed on the premises under any circumstances.

This applies to all guests, including those with valid concealed carry permits.

Clear “No Weapons” signs are posted at all entrances.

Violators may face removal, revocation of tickets, and possible legal action.

Exceptions

This restriction does not apply to on-duty or off-duty law enforcement officers, licensed security personnel contracted by the theater, or any other individual specifically authorized by theater management when their presence with a weapon is deemed necessary for the safety and security of patrons, performers, and staff.
